Where We Cover

We work across the Welsh Borders, the Midlands and Worcestershire, with local teams based in Knighton and Worcester covering both rural and urban sites. That local footing means faster manned response times and installers who know the area, rather than a call centre working from a national map.

We protect family homes, rural properties and holiday lets on the residential side, and offices, retail premises, industrial sites, construction projects and rural business facilities on the commercial side — often across multiple sites for the same client.

Our Story

Omnixa grew out of Dove Technology, the Worcester business Dan Jones built from 2000. For more than twenty years Dove Technology designed, installed and supported alarm and alerting systems for some of the UK’s best-known organisations: radio fire alarms for HM Treasury, deaf-alert systems for 10 Downing Street, staff-attack and cardiac alerting for NHS trusts, and production-line paging for Honda and Toyota. It also invented its own diesel tank overfill alarm, and built a team of engineers covering the whole UK.

When the manufacturing side of Dove Technology was sold, Dan kept the alarms and security work. In 2022 it became Omnixa Group Ltd, a dedicated security company with bases in Worcester and Knighton.

The approach hasn’t changed: survey the site properly, design the system around the real risks, install it well and stay on hand to support it. Today that means AI-powered CCTV, access control, integrated alarms and manned response, delivered by a local team rather than a national call centre.
